WHAT IS THE HOME ASSESSMENT AND ADAPTATION (PAD PROGRAM, SHQ)?
Support for in-home care of disabled individuals
Since the major revision of the home adaptation program (PAD) in 2023, it is now easier to adapt your residence to facilitate home care in complete safety.
Up to $50,000 in financial aid
Thanks to the PAD program, you could receive financial assistance of up to $50,000, once every five years, to adapt your living space.
What types of adaptations are possible?
Assistance can cover several modifications, including:
- Installation of an access ramp
- Adding a lift device
- Bathroom adaptation
- Kitchen layout
- Room modification
